How to organise test requirements for carpet hot-melt labels

We recommend preparing backing samples, information on the current application equipment and the later use process. Test records should state the conditions clearly so that they can be reviewed afterwards.

  • Backing type and sample number, and the label and adhesive layer versions.
  • Equipment, application temperature, time, pressure and the cooling process.
  • The edge condition to observe, the condition after cleaning, and any change in the label information.
  • The test method, the pass/fail criteria and the sample retention arrangement agreed by both sides.
This page is a preparation and communication note for buyers; the actual material and in-use performance follow the samples and tests confirmed by both sides.

Start with one label and talk about your product.

Bring your use case, dimensions and quantity, and we will work out a better label approach together.
