What to ask when sampling chilled bottle and can labels

Describe the application conditions and the storage conditions separately. Do not write only “cold resistant”; also state the temperature, the duration and the surface condition the sample actually went through.

  • Is the label applied to a container at room temperature and dry, or to a cold surface with condensation?
  • Does the product involve immersion in ice water, repeated movement in and out of cold storage, or temperature changes during transport?
  • How are appearance, edge lifting and information legibility recorded, and who confirms the approved sample?

These questions are used to draw up a test plan; they are not a basis for claiming directly that a given material suits every chilled scenario.

This page is a preparation and communication note for buyers; the actual material and in-use performance follow the samples and tests confirmed by both sides.

Start with one label and talk about your product.

Bring your use case, dimensions and quantity, and we will work out a better label approach together.
