07 / TEXTILE & CARPET

Different backings and different fixing methods call for a label approach stated in detail.

Carpet hot-melt labels, woven ribbon markings and home textile outer packaging start from the backing, the fixing method and the product specification. Zhushang takes the existing carpet and ribbon samples as the starting point, and confirms samples, artwork and reorder requirements item by item.

Suitable for: carpet manufacturers, home textile brands, apparel and textile buyers

01 / YOUR CHALLENGES

These are worth resolving before you order.

01

Changed the backing and the original label no longer performs the same way?

Provide the actual backing and the current fixing method, record on-site conditions such as temperature, time and pressure, and reconfirm with a new sample.

02

Small text hard to read on a textured surface?

Check the text hierarchy, colour and edge appearance on a sample at actual size instead of judging from enlarged images alone.

03

Sizes, colours and set contents change often?

Manage specification data for labels, hang tags or outer boxes by product number, and check every change item by item on reorders.

02 / LABELS & PACKAGING

Labels and packaging boxes, in one brief.

Carpet labels and woven ribbon labels

Confirm the backing, fixing method, label structure, wording and cutting requirements separately.

Home textile outer boxes and set packaging

Discuss the box format against folded dimensions, set contents, packing method and shipping method.

Materials, processes, order quantity and lead time are assessed against your actual requirement; confirm the applicable samples and the scope we can take on before scheduling production.

03 / WORK WITH ZHUSHANG

Work with Zhushang to bring the requirement down to detail.

Existing samples are available to discuss

Carpet print imagery and close-ups of ribbon text help clarify artwork requirements and process issues.

Record the fixing conditions separately

Build the sample inspection requirements around the backing and the on-site process, rather than applying one set of parameters to every product.

Keep a record of versions and reorders

Organise reorder discussions with approved artwork, specification sheets and a list of changes.

Is there a universal heat-press setting for carpet hot-melt labels?

Uniform parameters should not be applied directly. They need to be assessed against the backing, label structure, equipment and on-site conditions, with sample inspection records kept.

Can a ribbon photo prove washability?

No. A photo only shows the visible texture and text; washability or other performance needs the matching material, method and result records.

Do home textile gift boxes need the unfolded product dimensions?

The actual folded dimensions, set contents and placement method should also be provided. Pack a sample first and confirm the space inside the box and how the product is taken out before moving on to the structural design.
