06 / ELECTRONICS & APPLIANCES

Get the model right and the product seated properly, and clear the details before shipment.

Identification and outer packaging for electronics have to cover model recognition, surface fit and carton protection. Put together the product, accessory list, label position and shipping method, then discuss how the labels and colour boxes will be made.

Suitable for: consumer electronics, small appliances, accessory brands and assembly and shipment buyers

01 / YOUR CHALLENGES

These are worth resolving before you order.

01

Similar-looking models and mistakes in the label and packing information?

Build a cross-reference table by model, colour, accessory and barcode, and check the label and box panel against the sample.

02

Does the product surface or the use environment affect how the label holds up?

Provide the substrate and the use conditions; requirements such as temperature resistance and abrasion resistance need a defined way of judging them and cannot be settled by appearance.

03

Many accessories, movement inside the box or awkward assembly?

Set out the dimensions, weight and packing sequence of the unit and its accessories first, then discuss the inner tray and outer box structure.

02 / LABELS & PACKAGING

Labels and packaging boxes, in one brief.

Model, specification and outer carton marking

Keep fixed information and variable information in separate lists, and check the actual printing and reading requirements.

Product colour boxes and matching outer boxes

Confirm the structure against the unit, the accessories and the packing list; transport protection needs an agreed test.

Materials, processes, order quantity and lead time are assessed against your actual requirement; confirm the applicable samples and the scope we can take on before scheduling production.

03 / WORK WITH ZHUSHANG

Work with Zhushang to bring the requirement down to detail.

Complete the marking table first

Check dimensions, models, barcode positions and artwork versions together before production starts.

Discuss the label and the packing requirement together

Put the product surface and the in-box accessories together, so both requirements work from the same model list.

Confirm the performance limits by sample

State the special environment requirements first, then verify the material and the test basis, so no general promise is made.

Can electronics labels be quoted directly from a photo?

A photo can start the discussion, but dimensions, material requirements, use conditions, information content and quantity are still needed. Where special performance is involved, the material and test basis need separate confirmation.

Can a colour box guarantee no damage in transit?

A guarantee cannot be given on the box shape alone. Checks or tests should be agreed against the unit weight, inner tray, packing and logistics conditions, and the approach confirmed from the results.

Can you supply material with a specific certification?

Please state the required certification and the applicable part in your enquiry, and our team will verify the documents and supply conditions; this page does not mean that a specific certification is already held.

05 / START YOUR BRIEF

Bring these three kinds of information,
and start a concrete discussion.

You can submit what you have now and mark undecided items “to be confirmed”.

  1. 01Unit and accessory dimensions, weight and packing sequence
  2. 02Label position, surface and use environment
  3. 03Model and barcode list, material document requirements and quantity
